After doing my time in American higher education and falling in love with a beautiful girl, I figured why not try my hand at being poor, unemployed, and artistically inclined in Paris.  

My name is Jake, aka Baroquebloke, and I’m just your average musician, photographer, brewer, baker, and traveler in training. 

I’ve studied music at Florida State University, Oberlin Conservatory, and most recently the CRR de Paris.  For fun and work on the side I make gourmet kettle corn all over Paris and surrounding France.
